Custom OS

If you need behavior beyond the default system image, you can build and deploy a custom OS using the RSpell SDK. Custom images are flashed into the main OS partition and are not maintained or supported by us.

What you should know​

  • Your image must comply with the SDK integration rules.
  • A signing tool is not provided for custom images.
  • Unsigned images can be flashed after entering a password and confirming the risk.
  • Flashing is performed using SWUpdate and is at your own risk.
