Operating System

We provide our own operating system for a wide range of applications and recommend using it in production. It includes guaranteed security updates and secure boot support.

If you need a custom OS, an SDK is available, but your image must follow the SDK rules and integration requirements.

  • Updates replace only the Main OS partition; all other data stays intact.
  • The system provides data space for individual features (see Features intro).

Custom OS with SDK​

  • Your custom OS is flashed into the Main OS partition.
  • The image is outside our management and not supported by us.
  • CRA requirements do not apply to this custom OS.
  • Flashing is at your own risk.
  • The image signature is verified during flashing.
  • Flashing is performed using SWUpdate.
